DESCRIPTION:SUR L’ENVIRONNEMENT ET LES MINES ● MINES AND THE ENVIRONMENT \nThe Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) and the Canadian Institute of Mining\, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM)\, invite you to Rouyn-Noranda\, Québec\, Canada\, to attend the Symposium 2018 on Mines and the Environment\, from June 17 to 20\, 2018 at the Convention Centre of the Hôtel Gouverneur de Rouyn-Noranda. \nThe Symposium is the result of a collaboration between the Research Institute on Mines and Environment (RIME) UQAT-Polytechnique\, the Unité de Recherche et de Service en Technologie Minérale (URSTM)\, and many government actors and mining companies. \nThe objectives of the Symposium are to share recent knowledge and research developments and to discuss common practices to find solutions that reconcile profitability and environmental protection.
